Dynamic Yoga with Maggie

5.30 - 6.20 pm, Urban Dream Brokerage Space

I was trained in Hatha yoga in Dharamsala, India. I have fused Hatha with Power Vinyasa to create a unique,

dynamic style of yoga. The fifty-minute class starts off slow with a bit of breathing technique and warming up of the

joints. Next we warm up the entire body usually through sun salutations. The sun salutations serve as a basis for

building a crescent moon series, a warrior series, and a balancing series, which is the bulk of the class. Now that

our minds and bodies are prepared we are able to get a bit deeper into a couple of asanas. Of course we end with

a guided relaxation in shavasana.

Level: Beginners to Advanced

Movement connected with the rhythm of your breath forms a flowing sequence that allows health, strength, stability and flexibility to flourish in both your body and mind. The yoga flow class will be followed by a beautiful kirtan yoga experience, a fusion of mantra - specific words or sounds embedded with the potency to free the mind, as well as live music, in a collective call and response style.. + chai and knock out cookies. This complete yoga experience is suitable for beginners or experienced yogis. Yoga equipment is provided but you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

Hatha Yoga General Class
